The Criminal Justice subcommittee is seeking to learn about and support local and state initiatives that advocate for everyone being treated equally under the law. Two key areas the subcommittee is investigating are bail reform and pretrial justice improvements. In addition, the subcommittee is exploring possible advocacy related to recommendations coming out of the Governor’s Task Force on Racial Equity in Criminal Justice.
